Organic Cotton - Lule Design
- Organic Cotton is certified by Global Control Bodies. - It is grown without the use of pesticides and without depleting the soil with intensive plantations. The skin is the largest organ of our body and it is very porous, therefore all the chemical agents from conventional fabrics pass directly into our body. Thus dermatitis and skin disorders can appear, especially on sensitive baby skin. "For example: think of patches containing pain-relieving chemical agents or nicotine that are absorbed directly by the skin."

My project, Lule Design, takes shape in a small workshop in Oderzo in the province of Treviso. The clothes are designed and handcrafted, this can be certified by the presence of small irregularities that make each piece unique. ​​Fashion trends and my creativity dictate the choice of fabrics used. I mostly use certified organic fabrics, produced in sustainable ways. The prints are specially made with natural dyes that do not contain heavy metals.
